Diploma in Elementary Education (D. El. Ed.)
Diploma in Elementary Education (D. El. Ed.) started on 2018. It is the revised new syllabus for shaping elementary teachers. This contained 10 subjects in each semester. This new revised syllabus will help all teacher students to attain all qualities and knowledge for teaching in primary classes. The main advantages are ICT and 100 days of Internship.
About D. El. Ed.
Diploma in Elementary Education (D. El. Ed.) programme is a 2-year full-time diploma course which is divided into 4 semesters to train teachers mainly for the primary level. Candidates who have qualified 10+2 or equivalent examination from any recognized board with a minimum of 50% marks are eligible to apply. The programme has been developed by the Academic Department, NIOS on the initiative of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Govt. of India, keeping in view the NCF 2005, RTE 2009 and NCFTE 2010. The Programme aims at enabling the target group to develop in them skills, competencies, attitudes and understanding to make teaching and learning more effective.
